"Every few years or so a band comes along that changes the music landscape. They are different from the other bands that are out there. They bring something new and exciting to an otherwise generic music scene that the public has grown tired of. The Beatles did this, The Sex Pistols did this, Guns N' Roses did this, Nirvana did this. But for the past 20 years no band has been able to stand out from their predecessors. No band has been able to re-ignite the music scene, to bring back the energy it once had....that is until now. With their sound, their look and their attitude, Barb Wire Dolls are going to do what no band has been able to do within the last two decades...take the music industry by storm." - Sugarbuzz magazine

Prince Of Lilies Poster.jpg

PRINCE OF LILIES

Biography

Sounding like they could have come out of Seattle in the 90s, Prince Of Lilies are busting out raw, distorted, four-chord epics equal parts old school and new. Described by the UK press as “Nirvana meets Hüsker Dü” and “The sound of Kings Of Leon being abused by Nirvana”, Prince Of Lilies takes contemporary indie rock and gives it a well deserved punch in the face leaving it bloodied, raw and stunned - replacing the smug self awareness with an injection of rock n roll spirit.

Their forthcoming debut album VENT, recorded on analog tape in just two days by Steve Albini, (Nirvana, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Pixies, Fugazi), is the kind of album that lets you believe in the power of passionate rock music again.  Echoing the likes of Nirvana's debut record or the early Tad and Mudhoney material - or anything for that matter on the early Sub Pop catalogue - these are dynamic pop songs with a hardcore edge, replacing slickness for a gritty live feel and punk attitude, managing to sound like the band is actually in the corner of your room threatening to tear a hole in your speakers.

Rockford.jpg

ROCKFORD

Biography

Rockford is everything a rock band should be. Borrowing heavily from Seattle grunge legends Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Alice In Chains, this three-piece from the rainy and damp lowlands town of Klundert, Netherlands is a step forward for heavy, grinding, slow-riffing detuned Stoner rock that’s as Pop as The Beatles. One listen to their songs and you’ll be singing their lyrics unknowingly.

Named after singer/guitarist Niels Schmitz’ birthplace in the USA, Rockford recorded their forthcoming label debut BROKEN RECORDS on analog tape with Patrick Delabie at his legendary Recording Studio 195 in Wernhout, Netherlands.

Minatore.jpg

MINATORE

Biography

Imagine early Dinosaur Jr, Fugazi, and a driving Nirvana-esque full throttle, pedal-to-the-metal overdrive and rage all fronted by a transgender (female-to-male) singer, and you might just get a clue at how amazing the band Minatore actually is. This unique two-piece from Nottingham, England’s burgeoning underground DIY scene is led by charismatic singer Tommy Keeling, with his cracked vocals and blistering guitars, and the band's songs are propelled by two-time cancer survivor Morgan Pettigrew, who pounds the drums in the thundering traditions of John Bonham and Ginger Baker.

Every moment this band is on stage positively explodes with energy. Minatore fuse ‘90s grunge angst and the spirit of the hardcore indie college rock scene of the late ‘80s, giving rock and roll a wondrous new sound and fury that simply cannot be ignored. Minatore gives you the feeling of what it must have been like to see a great band before they became famous. Make sure you catch them live when they hit up your unsuspecting town.

Alien Feelings 2 .jpg

ALIEN FEELINGS

Biography

Alien Feelings come from Wrexham in the industrial borders of North Wales armed with choruses that prove there’s only one thing better than a singalong: a shoutalong. Loud and aggressive, theirs is the anguished howl of the backwaters where there’s little else to do but play punk rock and get stoned. Josh, Tim, Dale, and Ryan knew each other in school where they spent most of their time discussing Slayer, Reel Big Fish, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Beatles, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nirvana, Green Day, Pink Floyd and The Who at the expense of an education. Numerous musical endeavors in local bands ensued until they were the last men standing.

In 2019, Alien Feelings formed and promptly got banned from ever playing their town again. Someone at their local asked the band to improvise a song about their town. The jaunty tune about inbred smackheads that followed was ill-received. Alien Feelings make music for those whose love of roaring guitars, pulsating bass and thundering drums equip them to make the connection between The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nirvana and Stereophonics.
