"Every few years or so a band comes along that changes the music landscape. They are different from the other bands that are out there. They bring something new and exciting to an otherwise generic music scene that the public has grown tired of. The Beatles did this, The Sex Pistols did this, Guns N' Roses did this, Nirvana did this. But for the past 20 years no band has been able to stand out from their predecessors. No band has been able to re-ignite the music scene, to bring back the energy it once had....that is until now. With their sound, their look and their attitude, Barb Wire Dolls are going to do what no band has been able to do within the last two decades...take the music industry by storm." - Sugarbuzz magazine

Prince Of Lilies Poster.jpg

Sounding like they could have come out of Seattle in the 90s, Prince Of Lilies are busting out raw, distorted, four-chord epics equal parts old school and new. Described by the UK press as “Nirvana meets Hüsker Dü” and “The sound of Kings Of Leon being abused by Nirvana”, Prince Of Lilies takes contemporary indie rock and gives it a well deserved punch in the face leaving it bloodied, raw and stunned - replacing the smug self awareness with an injection of rock n roll spirit.

Their forthcoming debut album VENT, recorded on analog tape in just two days by Steve Albini, (Nirvana, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Pixies, Fugazi), is the kind of album that lets you believe in the power of passionate rock music again.  Echoing the likes of Nirvana's debut record or the early Tad and Mudhoney material - or anything for that matter on the early Sub Pop catalogue - these are dynamic pop songs with a hardcore edge, replacing slickness for a gritty live feel and punk attitude, managing to sound like the band is actually in the corner of your room threatening to tear a hole in your speakers.

Rockford is everything a rock band should be. Borrowing heavily from Seattle grunge legends Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Alice In Chains, this three-piece from the rainy and damp lowlands town of Klundert, Netherlands is a step forward for heavy, grinding, slow-riffing detuned Stoner rock that’s as Pop as The Beatles. One listen to their songs and you’ll be singing their lyrics unknowingly.

Named after singer/guitarist Niels Schmitz’ birthplace in the USA, Rockford recorded their forthcoming label debut BROKEN RECORDS on analog tape with Patrick Delabie at his legendary Recording Studio 195 in Wernhout, Netherlands.

Imagine early Dinosaur Jr, Fugazi, and a driving Nirvana-esque full throttle, pedal-to-the-metal overdrive and rage all fronted by a transgender (female-to-male) singer, and you might just get a clue at how amazing the band Minatore actually is. This unique two-piece from Nottingham, England’s burgeoning underground DIY scene is led by charismatic singer Tommy Keeling, with his cracked vocals and blistering guitars, and the band's songs are propelled by two-time cancer survivor Morgan Pettigrew, who pounds the drums in the thundering traditions of John Bonham and Ginger Baker.

Every moment this band is on stage positively explodes with energy. Minatore fuse ‘90s grunge angst and the spirit of the hardcore indie college rock scene of the late ‘80s, giving rock and roll a wondrous new sound and fury that simply cannot be ignored. Minatore gives you the feeling of what it must have been like to see a great band before they became famous. Make sure you catch them live when they hit up your unsuspecting town.

Because of their attitude, their sound, and the pure potential for them to break out and connect to the disaffected youth, “Nirvana meets Oasis” is the best way to describe the four teenagers who play in Stereotyped. Coming from Manchester, England, Stereotyped is set to carry on the great musical legacy brought forth from their home city that gave the world The Buzzcocks, Joy Division, The Smiths, The Fall, The Stone Roses, James, Doves, Oasis, and many more.

Stereotyped is young, full of angst, and ready to rip rock and roll from the ground up and to take on the world. They have those loud distorted guitars perfectly soaring over aggressive Pop melodies, and catchy songs that you just know are gonna be great live. Stereotyped have signed a multi-album deal with Grunge Pop Records and are currently finishing up their debut album with producer Chris Hope at Milkshed Studios in Lancashire, England.

Triptych are the new rock sound of Glasgow, Scotland. Loud riffs influenced by Nirvana, Biffy Clyro, Tokyo Police Club, Delta Sleep and Fugazi, this dynamic trio fuses off-time rhythmic meters and progressive math rock ideals, forging today’s New Alt Indie and post-alternative grunge into one.

Glasgow, one of the most powerful musical cities globally, has given the music world Big Country, Franz Ferdinand, Primal Scream, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Mogwai, Chvrches, Teenage Fanclub, Simple Minds, Belle & Sebastian and many more, yet there’s nothing more exciting than introducing a new band. Here comes Triptych.

Royal Distortion.jpg

Royal Distortion from Venice Beach, California plays ‘80s influenced pop-rock with nods to Blondie, U2, The Police, and is the only house band that the legendary Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles has had in the last two decades. Royal Distortion has repeatedly sold out the world famous venue on The Sunset Strip were previous house bands include The Doors, Van Halen, and Guns N’ Roses.

Debut single “Hole In My Life” produced by Kyle Hoffmann (Grey Daze, Bush, Lacuna Coil) is set for release in the winter of 2021 via Grunge Pop Records.

The Timeouts.jpg

Teenage band The Timeouts from Nottingham, UK, are a grunge/Metal hybrid that blend the sounds of Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Alter Bridge, Alice In Chains, QOTSA and Jeff Buckley into one. Their heavy, loud, raw, and powerful guitar-driven rock with intensely sung vocals has gained them a loyal underground following and band members often end up joining the mosh pits at their own shows.

The Timeouts are poised to be the next band in line to take on the Rock and Metal scene. Discovered and signed by Grunge Pop Records, they are set to release their much anticipated first single “Let Me In” in January 2022. The band is currently recording their debut album with producer Simon “Smiley” Hopkinson at Electric Bear Studios in England.

Alien Feelings 2 .jpg

Alien Feelings come from Wrexham in the industrial borders of North Wales armed with choruses that prove there’s only one thing better than a singalong: a shoutalong. Loud and aggressive, theirs is the anguished howl of the backwaters where there’s little else to do but play punk rock and get stoned. Josh, Tim, Dale, and Ryan knew each other in school where they spent most of their time discussing Slayer, Reel Big Fish, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Beatles, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nirvana, Green Day, Pink Floyd and The Who at the expense of an education. Numerous musical endeavors in local bands ensued until they were the last men standing.

In 2019, Alien Feelings formed and promptly got banned from ever playing their town again. Someone at their local asked the band to improvise a song about their town. The jaunty tune about inbred smackheads that followed was ill-received. Alien Feelings make music for those whose love of roaring guitars, pulsating bass and thundering drums equip them to make the connection between The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nirvana and Stereophonics.

Sun Puddle is a rock trio from Seattle, Washington that have a penchant for writing angry, compelling songs about society’s outsiders and a flair for catchy pop akin to the Beatles.

Leaning heavily on early Nirvana, Melvins, and Sonic Youth, the band plays urgent, intense music sparked by introspective, sometime caustic, lyrics. Sun Puddle’s uniqueness lies in their hook-laden songs that transcend the aggressiveness of their apathetic yet powerful presence.

Probably the furthest thought from any of the band members’ minds, but superstardom is on the horizon.

Sun Puddle are Trever Rose (singer/guitarist), Leo Quale (bass player), Evan Hartung (drummer)
